We’re moving East!
For the past two (2) seasons, EUSA has played in the Development Academy’s Central Conference and Great Lakes Division. Our games have been predominantly in the Midwest (Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana) along with games in Texas this past season. Beginning next season, US Soccer has announced that we are moving to the East Conference and the Northeast Division.
The Northeast Division teams include Seacoast SA (NH), FC Boston (MA), New England Revolution (MA), Oakwood SC (CT), South Central Premier (CT) as well as EUSA.
We will play each of these Academies two times (home and away) and our conference games will be against the other East Conference Academies – located in eastern NY, PA, NJ, and MD.
This shift in Division and Conference will allow us to focus on bus travel for our away events and only require air travel for the three Showcases (Dec, May, June).
Our home games will be played in the Greater Syracuse Area.
Player Fees will be Reduced!
The EUSA board and Executive Director are anticipating Sponsorship levels that would average up to $1,000 per player at this time. This would result in a reduction of over 40% from this season’s player fees. Our objective is to keep the cost of participation as low as possible to run the program. The Player Fee does not include travel expenses – which we anticipate to be at the same level as the previous season.
